Garth Beckford is the Information Technology Manager at Spectrum Management Authority, specializing in radio frequency and IT communications. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has played a key role in maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, supporting the development and upkeep of sixteen Remote Monitoring and Direction Finding System (RMDFS) sites, and advising the Managing Director on technology-related matters.

Garth has successfully led the implementation of a modern VoIP telephony system and contributed to the deployment of the Authority’s electronic licensing solution (e-Lic). He is also responsible for managing the entity’s IT assets and ensuring the adoption of international best practices to deliver professional IT services. A strong advocate for cybersecurity, Garth prioritizes the protection of digital assets and promotes a culture of security awareness across the organization.

Passionate about digital transformation, Garth is dedicated to re-engineering manual workflows into efficient digital processes and enjoys mentoring young people in computer technology. Outside of work, he spends his time with family, beekeeping, and gardening.
