Major (Maj.) Kayson Gunzell is an experienced Operational Leader with approximately twelve years proven experience in Military Strategy, Tactics and Intelligence. A highly respected team member with a history of guiding teams to top performance in military and a civilian capacity, Maj. Gunzell is adept in creating and implementing actionable strategies to realize short and long-term goals. He was recently appointed Acting Staff Officer for Cyber, Communications and Information Systems at the Jamaica Defence Force, Up Park Camp. Prior to that Maj. Gunzell served in various capacities including Staff Officer Headquarters (Intelligence); Acting Officer Commanding Headquarters Company 2JR; Infantry Battalion Intelligence Officer and Platoon Commander. Maj. Gunzell has been serving on the SMA’s Board since December 2022
