Ms. Marion Brown, an Attorney-at-Law who was called to the Jamaican Bar in 2011, is currently the Vice President and University Registrar at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Ms. Brown served for two terms as President of the University of Technology, Jamaica Administrative Staff Association (UTASA)the Union with bargaining rights for over three hundred (300) administrative staff at the University. She also served for several years as the Grievance Officer. Ms. Brown has served as Co-opted member on Corporate Governance Committees and Human Resource Committees of several Public Bodies including the Heart Trust NSTA, Factories Corporation of Jamaica and the National Health Fund. She is currently a Commissioner on the Board of Commissioners of the National Water Commission and Chairs the Corporate Governance and Human Resource Committee of the Board. Ms. Brown has been serving on the SMA’s Board since December 2022.
