Sharon M. Laidlaw is an accomplished human resources professional with over thirty (30) years of experience, primarily at the senior executive level. She is the Founder and Executive Director of LawBar & Associates, a human resources consultancy firm that provides cutting-edge HR services to businesses across all industries. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree with Distinction in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, both from the University of the West Indies. Mrs. Laidlaw’s areas of expertise include talent management, compensation, and change management, as well as organizational development, union negotiations, and industrial relations. She has served as Head of Human Resources for companies in Jamaica and across the Caribbean, including Unicomer (Courts) Jamaica Limited, Massy Distribution Jamaica Limited (Massy Group), and Jamaica Biscuit Company Limited (Excelsior), part of the Bermudez Group. She is a former Board Director of Massy Distribution Jamaica Limited and currently serves as a Director on the board of the Jamaica Flour Mills Foundation.
